August and September are the best times to see the spectacular display of wildflowers within Mt Barney National Park. Mt Gilles (behind the Lodge) boast displays of purples and yellow Hoveas, Acacias and wild orchids.

Explore the Maroon area and delight yourselves in a diversity of flowers such as Leucopogan’s, Leptospermum’s and the endangered Acacia saxicola.

Mt Barney Lodge offers guided wildflower walks so you can be sure to pass through the most abundant seasonal floral displays in the area.

Please email us or ring 07 55443233 if you would like to organise a getaway with wildflowers as the focus.
