Pizza-making Classes

Classe Di Cucina Italiana

Pietro and Desley created the Schonell Pizza Caffe at the University of Queensland 15 years ago. It became a popular place for students, academics and the general public alike who came from all over Brisbane to enjoy their A - Z pizza menu.

Now they are sharing their secrets of pizza and other traditional Italian cuisine with intimate cooking classes. Organically grown local produce is used where possible, cooked in superb local olive oil from Rathlogan Olive Grove and will be accompanied by excellent local wine from Barney Creek Vineyard.

The pizza cooking classes are held 20 minutes drive from Mt Barney Lodge, as they require a wood-fired pizza oven. Learn how to make your own dough along with how best to prepare your toppings. Gelato and a game of Bocce (Italian bowls) will follow pizzas.

Other cooking classes are held in Beaudesert, or even at your venue of choice (minimum numbers apply).
