Michael Snedic is one of Australia’s most accomplished nature/wildlife photographers, with a special interest in native birds. His photos have been published in numerous publications and he is a regular feature writer on nature photography for different magazines which include Australian Photography, Wildlife Australia, and Wingspan (Birds Australia). He is also the author of a 200 page coffee table book titled “Wildlife of Australia – a nature photographer’s journey”. Michael owns and operates, with business partner Mark Rayner, Trekabout Photography Workshops. The half day, full day, weekend and 5-7 day workshops are conducted “in-the-field” in stunning natural settings, including south east Queensland, the Red Centre and Norfolk Island. Michael was also a bird keeper at Sydney’s Taronga Zoo many years ago and his love of birds and birding continues to this day.
At Mt Barney Lodge’s Bird Week
, Michael will be presenting an audio-visual and a hands-on workshop on bird photography.
