Awesome Easter

Well Easter has come and gone, and we had some of the best weather in years.

With the Campground full of familiar faces we once again saw the Jarrett group fill Moringararah, the Wells Craft crew in Boolamoola, the Nunn’s in the Camper trailers as well as welcoming the Nutt and Seedsman families into the Huts and our Easter clan.

Activities on the weekend included abseiling, Yellowpinch Eco Tour and a Sunset Eco Tour… As well as the totally awesome Easter Eco Boat Race. With over 100 people lining the banks of the Logan River cheering on their hand crafted Eco Boat the atmosphere was electric. A new category for prizes was inaugurated this year with Mt Barney Lodge donating $20 to the best designed craft as well as other prizes for the actual boat race itself.

Special guest judges Andy (and partner) from the Boonah National Parks office were appreciative of the effort invested into the craft and enjoyed watching people interact with the natural environment.

We look forward next year with the Campground, Moringararah, Boolamoola and Camper trailers already rebooked !!!
