"Hard to say what I enjoyed the most... The scenery, the bird song or the cool breeze. I loved the white throated honeyeaters the most. We enjoyed watching the squabbles between the noisy miners and a kookaburra. The kookaburra wasn’t too worried. Then some magpies joined in. We were dive bombed and strafed by wood swallows darting in and out of the veranda. We marvelled at the rosellas showing off across the front lawn. Loved the whip bird down near the river. The constant cacophony from the magpies, crows, lorikeets, parrots and what I think was a drongo were highlights. Loved the frogs and cicadas at night. Saw the best shooting star of my life last night. Felt my soul being restored"
