Mt Barney expedition package
For the more adventurous, a guided expedition up Mt Barney is the ultimate challenge. Enjoy the freedom and solitude of the World Heritage-listed Mt Barney National Park, and take advantage of our experience and local knowledge. When participating on a mountain expedition, you get to leave the tracks behind and explore some of the more challenging ridges and routes available. Interpretive information by your guide on plants, animals, history and geology of the area will contribute to this memorable experience. Enjoy lunch with tea or coffee on the summit! Upon your return, relax on the veranda of your Queenslander style homestead while enjoying stunning views of Mt Barney, the mountain you just conquered!

Here at Mt Barney Lodge we reckon experience gifts are a great eco-friendly gift option. They have become quite popular in recent years. Instead of giving someone a present they’ll never use, give them an experience they’ll appreciate. We can provide gift vouchers for a variety of our getaway packages, activities and adventures. You can also purchase ‘Barney Bonds‘ – a way of giving a dollar-value without losing the cash in a card! Mt Barney Bonds
We all have that difficult ‘someone’ to buy for that has everything! Well, we just may have a solution! Mt Barney Lodge can issue you a Mt Barney Bond. No need to worry about who is the current Treasurer of Australia – your bond money will always keep its value! A Mt Barney Bond can be pre-purchased to the value of your choice, with the minimum spend being $100 that can be used for different experiences and/or accommodation over of a period of 12 months.
