We can comfortably accommodate up to 38 guests over 4 buildings. Our Deluxe Camper Trailers and campground are also available for overflow. Should your numbers exceed our maximum capacity, we can also help you place delegates in local retreats and resorts.
Mt Barney Lodge offers delicious home-style meals as part of its group catering packages. If you would like us to cater for your group please ask when booking.
We are more than happy to cater for special dietary requirements.
Our function room is situated underneath Boolamoola homestead and has the ability to seat up to thirty delegates in a variety of gathering arrangements. The function room is surrounded by a landscaped garden and patio areas that are ideal for small group work and outdoor seminars.
Within the function room is a small kitchenette for tea/coffee preparation, and bathroom facilities.
Adventure Activities & Facilitation
We have a number of highly qualified facilitators that can provide delegates with a memorable experience tailored to allow the group to achieve specific outcomes and objectives. We chose Mt Barney Lodge with the aims of team building and business focus. We needed a place away from everything, to come together, build as a team, and take time as a group to focus on the business into the future, Mt Barney Lodge was perfect. The setting and scenery was stunning, the activities arranged were out of the ordinary, very special and truly memorable. Tracey and Innes were absolutely fabulous hosts, organized, on time and very accommodating. We achieved all that we set out to and came away relaxed, rejuvenated, energized and a team all going in the same direction. Next time I’d stay longer and pack my hiking boots. Highly recommended.

With its spectacular location, and diverse range of accommodation and activities, Mt Barney Lodge is the perfect destination for your school or university camp or home schooling group.
We are ideally suited for small groups of approximately 30 participants and can provide qualified staff to facilitate camps and lead activities.
Activities on offer include: Team building, initiative games, creek walks, rock climbing, abseiling, mountain expeditions, regaining, navigation courses and external camps in nearby national parks.
Choose to be self-sufficient, or have us look after all your needs (accommodation, catering and guiding).
