Moringararah Homestead
For a bigger gathering of family and friends (sleeps up to 15 over 2 floors), Moringararah Homestead is the place to be. Set back from other accommodation and camping areas in a place of its own, it’s perfect for group get-togethers.
- Enjoy a meal around the big table in the fully equipped kitchen, or in the dining room next to the old piano.
- Tell stories around the woodfired stove in winter, or out in the shaded BBQ area in summer. (Complimentary wood on your first night in winter months).
- Open the French doors out on the veranda and enjoy a quiet drink at the outdoor table, taking in the superb mountain views.
- Enjoy the charm of yesteryear’s colonial furniture and experience what it was like for generations before you.
- Snuggle up in one of 7 bedrooms to enjoy a great night’s sleep, and wake up to relaxing birdsong. BYO linen or hire from us.
The practical stuff
For homesteads we provide you with basic linen needs, such as tea towels and tablecloths along with doonas and spare blankets. You will need to bring your own sheets, pillows and towels, or you can have us provide it all for you with our Linen Hire option.
For just $25pp, we will supply linen and have beds made up for your arrival (minimum 48hrs notice required).
Hire linen includes: sheets, pillows and pillowcases, doonas, bath towels, face washers, hand towel and bath mat.
The kitchens are fully self-contained with all crockery, cutlery, glassware, pots, pans, serving bowls etc, toaster, microwave oven, full size fridge and oven; and tea and coffee making facilities with complimentary tea, coffee and milk provided.
Strictly 2:00pm check-in and 10:00am check-out. (Unless otherwise advised).
Please check-in at the Office during office hours when you first arrive onsite:
- Saturday - Thursday 8:00am- 4:00pm
- Friday 8:00am- 6:00pm
We can email after-hours check-in instructions to you if you plan to arrive after office hours. Just let us know.
Pets are not permitted to stay in the Homesteads or Cabins. They are only permitted to stay in the specific pet friendly camping areas.
If you book both homesteads, we recommend the use of the function room below Boolamoola Homestead for gatherings and meals.
The function room can comfortably seat up to 30 guests in a variety of seating arrangements, and can even be set up out-side to take advantage of the surrounding gardens and mountain views.
Included is a kitchenette, microwave oven, commercial size fridge, commercial size BBQ, chairs, tables, crockery and cutlery for up to 50 guests. There are also tea and coffee making facilities, a white-board, and bathroom with toilet. Contact us for our special function room hire fees and to reserve it.
