Saddleback Ridge
Wake up to breathtaking, uninterrupted views of Mount Barney from one of the most spectacular spots on the property. This unique site is perfectly positioned for unforgettable sunrises, golden-hour mountain views, and incredible stargazing on clear nights—far from city lights.
The campsite features two spacious, flat grassy levels, making it ideal for tents, swags, or a comfortable outdoor setup. You’ll also have a fire ring for cozy evenings under the stars, a picnic table for relaxed meals, and access to potable drinking water for added convenience. The amenities are a short walk away in the main campground (Creekside Campground), with access to hot running showers and toilets, and a separate washup area for dishes.
Whether you’re seeking a peaceful escape, a romantic night under the stars, or a base for outdoor adventures, this site offers the perfect blend of comfort, scenery, and serenity. Well mannered dogs are welcome too! This is a dog friendly site.
Price: $80/night for 2 people, additonal guests $20/adult per night and $15/child per night.

- Vehicle access: High set 2wd’s and 4wd’s only
- Camping setups: Swags, tents, camper trailers, lightweight caravans (large caravans are at your own risk, keeping in mind there is a steep hill up to the site)

- This site allows up to 12 people
- Up to 3 cars allowed onsite (additonal cars can be parked in the creekside campground carpark)
- Generators can be used at this site
- No wifi onsite
If bringing a dog
- Please ensure dogs are kept on a leash at all times and do not to chase wildlife
- Dogs must be supervised at all times and not left alone at the campsite
- Dogs are not allowed on the rest of the property (except on the main driveway down to the creek)
- Please dispose of all dog poo in the landfill bins provided
- For the best health for your dog please keep flea/tick control up to date
- As per national park guidelines dogs are not permitted in the Mt Barney National Park
- Up to 2 dogs are allowed per site
Gillies Outlook

Gillies Outlook features a shelter shed for shade and weather protection, a picnic table for shared meals, and a fire ring perfect for evening campfires and stargazing on clear nights. Potable water is available on site for added convenience, and well-behaved dogs are welcome, so no family member gets left behind.
This site is perfect for tents, swags, camper trailers and lightweight caravans. For convenience, guests are encouraged to bring their own toilet and shower setup, as shared amenities are located approximately 500 metres away in the main campground (Creekside Campground). The amenities have hot running showers and toilets, with a separate wash up area for dishes.
